Hammers for Veterans

On Saturday September 12th, The Southwestern NH Home Builders and Hammers For Veterans, in a joint venture installed a new roof on the home of Mary Hammond of Keene NH.

Mary is a widow of a WW II Veteran, and could not afford this project. Hammers For Veterans is part of a new foundation that was created by the NH Home Builders Association to help Veterans and Family’s of Veterans with needed home repairs and upgrades due to disabilities.
Best of all, this project didn’t cost Mary a dime. The shingles were donated by Harvey Industries, the chimney block and other supplies by Hamshaw Lumber, and the Labor by members of the Southwestern Home Builders Association.
