About

The New Hampshire Home Builders Association (NHHBA) is a trade association for professional home builders, remodelers, and others who work in the residential construction industry across NH. We are proud to be the largest home building association north of Boston, providing valuable services for our over 400 members (and growing) representing over 36,000 people working in the residential construction trades.

In 2021, the Board of Directors of NHHBA set forth a mandate of creating a culture of education, inclusion, effectiveness in legislation and providing value to each and every member and their membership dollars.

Customer service and value added is at the core of everything we do, and our team works hard every day to grow our membership and ensure members get the maximum value for their membership (ROI). As the face of NH’s home building industry, we invest significant time and energy in our advocacy for issues such as workforce development, affordable housing, and fixing the supply chain.

Networking is also an essential part of our association. One of the main reasons companies join the NHHBA is to meet other members to do business with not only in their area, but also on a statewide level. We host and organize multiple events per month across the state to help members meet, and regularly bring along influential elected officials so our members can tell them face-to-face what the challenges the industry is facing and how to best address them.

The NHHBA also contains local associations that represent different areas of the state. Each one has its own leadership team which focuses on developing and enriching the home building industry in its own area. We are all an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.
